Gym Stars staff is dedicated to providing the best possible training to it's recreational and team gymnasts and cheerleaders. All members of Gym Stars senior staff are professional members of USAGymnastics, SAFETY CERTIFIED and also certified in CPR AND FIRST AID.
The senior staff includes Jimmy Uhl, who has coached gymnastics for over 30 years and has a skill evaluator certification Level 1 PDP certification and Level 2 PDP in women’s J.O training. He also has worked on the senior staff at the YMCA National Training Center along side USAGymnastics national team coaches.
Tracy Uhl owner is Kat certified by USAGymnastics for the development of preschoolers. Gym Stars is committed to the best possible training and education for it's staff.

For over 20 years Gym Stars has been part of the fun and recreation for the children of Ulster County. Gymnastics and Cheerleading have always been the focus of our programs. They build confidence and self-esteem along with coordination and motor skills development.
Gym Stars programs are designed to
meet the needs of a diversity of
children. Our small class size and individual attention ensure the best possible learning environment so that
the child can best reach his/her potential. The small class size also makes it a safe environment.
Team-Staff
Jim Uhl-Owner 30 years experience/ former gymnasts. Coached State, Regional and National champions.
Jessica Uhl- Former gymnast of Gym Stars, state champion on floor, bars, and vault. Coach's levels 4 though 10. Also, judges levels 4 through 8 for USAGymnastics.

Dan Hassoun- Former gymnast with 20 years experience. Coaches levels 6-10.
OUR EQUIPMENT
Gym Stars is a state of the art facility with the finest equipment. We have a 20'x 20' loose foam pit, a tumble track that is recessed into the floor, and a floor system that is made of the finest materials on the market.
The top of the floor has a full 2" covering of Resilite foam which provides maximum protection to wrists and ankles. There are two layers of 5x5 sheets of Baltic birch plywood imported from Russia with a Speith Anderson spring system.
Our equipment includes AAI Elite BARS, AAI and Speith Anderson balance beams. Also, Gym Stars has the new vault table required by USAGymnastics.

Danielle Rinaldo- Former level 9 gymnast of Gym Stars with10 years experience.
Tracy Uhl- Pre school and recreational instructor.KAT certified with 19 years experience
Dawn Spencer- Pre-school and recreational with 23 years of experience.
Gym Stars builds a solid foundation which includes coordination, agility, strength, flexibility, and balance.

The Gym Stars owners and staff are devoted to teaching every child, regardless of age, to overcome obstacles and to own the responsibility for self achievements. These life skills will be taught by developing a focused mind, a healthy body, and a disciplined spirit. We will teach children perseverance and we will help them build a passion for what they do.

Our philosophy is dedicated to the individual gymnast and her development as a person. Our goal is to have each individual gymnast enrich her life through the sport of gymnastics.
We want all children to reach their personal best and in the process , enjoy the sport of gymnastics, have self-confidence, success and fun.
USAIGC Gold Team WINS 1st Place at States in LI Brenna, Meghan,Steph & Brittany Coach Jim State Champions All Around
Gym Stars Team Wins First Place at Nationals in FtLauderdale, Florida June 24th. Five girls went and competed for Gym Stars. Team Cup, they took the top the three scores. The five girls who competed at Nationals were, Meghan Uhl, Stephany Lenny, Erin Patchey, Brittany Haws and Jessica DeBiase. These girls competed on Sunday to qualified for finals on Monday. On Sunday to lead the team to the national Championship Brittany Haws lead the team with a First Place Beam score of 9.50 Erin Patchey had a First Place Beam Score of a 9.40. Stephany Lenny had a First Place Vault score of 9.50. Erin Patchey was the National All around Champion in the 12 to 13 year old age division. Erins score of a 9.875 on Monday was the highest score of the meet. Here are the final scores on Monday.... ERIN PATCHEY qualified all four events...
